Buy bio-ethanol for your fireplace: 96-97% pure
Do you want to buy bio-ethanol that burns cleanly and with minimal odor? Our fuel has a purity of 96 to 97% — the level at which the flame burns calmly, yellow-orange, and virtually odorless. Suitable for any bio-ethanol fireplace and burner, including those from other brands. Bestseller: the Fanola value pack of 4×5 liters.
What purity do you need?
For manual burners, 96% is the gold standard: beautiful flame pattern, minimal odor. Automatic burners (such as Planika and Smart Fire) require the same high purity for a long lifespan of the pump and sensors. Lower-dosed house brands from the hardware store often contain more water and additives — which you can smell and see in the flame pattern.
Price per liter: bottles or economical jerry cans
Individual liter bottles are convenient for dosing; jerry cans and value packs (6 to 25 liters) are most economical per liter. One liter burns on average for two to five hours, depending on your burner and flame setting — so a value pack can last an entire season. For projects and hospitality, we also supply larger volumes; request a quote.
Why quality makes a difference in odor and soot
Pure bio-ethanol burns into water vapor and a small amount of CO₂ — without soot, fumes, or pungent odor. Cheap fuel with lower purity gives an erratic flame, more odor, and residue on glass and burner. With premium fuel, your fireplace lasts longer and the glass remains clear.
Safe refilling and storage
Only refill the burner when it is off and completely cooled down, use a pouring spout to prevent spills, and store the supply in a cool, dark, and tightly sealed place. Handy accessories such as pouring spouts and extinguishing plates can be found under accessories. Curious about the cost per hour? Read our blog what does a bio-ethanol fireplace cost per hour.
